How it all Began…. Hannah’s Version
My in laws Brea and Trevor met at Javalina Cantina in Lake Havasu November 2010. Trevor had big plans to relocate to Mexico with his buddy Jerry and was purchasing a bar in Puerto Penasco. But…… that plan didn’t quite make it to fruition, Trevor couldn’t help himself and fell in love with Brea, but let’s be real, who could blame him?
So, while the Mexico plans came to a crashing end, Brea and Trevor’s lives together were just beginning! Brea and her four sons Alec, Ty, Dawson and Jake moved to the river, Trevor and Brea got married and added a beautiful baby girl, Parker to the family. Not only did they blend a family together, but they started Rocky River Adventure Center, renting jet skis at the Aquarius. This is where the family passion for the river began.
Jake and Dawson were middle school students at the time and Alec was heading into the United States Navy. Ty was attending High School in Las Vegas, NV spending weekends and summer breaks learning from Trevor and Brea the ins and outs of how to run Rocky River and maintaining the Jet skis and equipment. When Ty graduated high school in 2016 he made to move to Bullhead City and started working for the company fulltime!
Well, a few years went by, Rocky River Jet Ski operation was going well, and they had an opportunity to purchase a boat! The Celebration boat is a 112-passenger tour boat and was Brea’s dream come true!
Trevor was always daydreaming of owning the locally owned jet boat business and after several years of watching it “jet” by Trevor and Brea were finally able to make it happen! Ty went off to captains’ school and got his United States Coast Guard license. You will see Trevor and Ty behind the captain’s wheel of one of our London Bridge Jet Boats, the Celebration boat, or operating the Jet Ski & UTV rentals with a grin from ear to ear!
Trevor and Brea continue their passion for outdoor adventure and have opened TTR Motorsports offering service, repair and customization of UTV’s. When he’s not maintaining our tour boats, that’s where you can find Alec, current Chief of Operations of TTR Motorsports.
We are beyond blessed with an amazing crew. From our skilled captains to our friendly servers, wonderful safety instructors, master mechanics and rockstar office managers, we have truly grown a second family. Our shared love of the area shines through us all and we love that we can share it with each of our visitors. We look forward to continuing to make amazing memories for you and your family! Oh, and if you jump on board the Celebration Boat make sure to say hi to Jerry… just don’t mention Mexico!
